Designing your tickets is one of the most essential steps in building a successful event. Whether you're creating a yoga retreat, breathwork immersion, meditation workshop, kirtan concert, or multi-day festival, your ticket structure shapes how your attendees understand — and move toward — your offering.

BrightStar gives you a flexible, intuitive way to create Early Bird tickets, VIP passes, donation-based options, tiered pricing, sliding scale tickets, and more — all in a beautifully organized flow designed for conscious creators.

This guide walks you through Step 4 — Tickets in the BrightStar event creation process.

    🌼 Step-by-Step Ticket Creation Guide

    1. Navigate to Step 4: Tickets

After setting up your event details, simply move to Step 4 — Tickets in the left-side creation flow.

    Click “Add Ticket” to begin.

🌱 2. Enter Your Ticket Details

    Ticket Name

    Examples:

    • General Admission
    • Early Bird
    • VIP Experience
    • Friday Night Only
    • Meal Add-On

    Quantity Available

Choose to limit your ticket inventory or leave it unlimited.

    Limiting quantities can create:

    • urgency,
    • clarity, and
    • mindful pacing for your ticket release.

🌿 3. Group Tickets Using Categories (Optional but Recommended)

If your event includes many choices — meals, lodging, add-ons, day passes, VIP tiers — categories help attendees feel calm and oriented.

    Popular categories include:

    • Admission
    • Onsite Lodging
    • Meals & Add-Ons
    • Workshops / Sessions
    • Scholarship & Donation Tiers

To manage or create categories, click the filter icon next to “Ticket Types.”

🌙 4. Customize Your Ticket Behavior

These settings help shape the flow of your attendee experience.

    Max Tickets Per Transaction

Limit how many of each ticket can be purchased at once.
    Examples:

    • VIP: Max 1
    • General Admission: Max 10

    Currency

Select your event’s currency from the dropdown.

    Coupons

Click “Add Coupon” to create discount codes — helpful for:

    • Early Bird promos
    • Influencer partnerships
    • Street team incentives
    • Special community rates

    Who Pays the Service Fee?

    You choose:

    • Buyer pays (most common), or
    • Organizer absorbs (useful for donation-based or spiritual/community-focused events)

    Collect Mailing Address?

Toggle Yes/No depending on your needs.
    Recommended for:

    • merchandise shipping
    • retreats requiring liability documentation
    • events where you must mail wristbands or materials

    🌻 5. Save and Continue

Once your tickets feel aligned, click Next to continue setting up your event.

💡 BrightStar Tips for Conscious Organizers

    1. Clear Naming Creates Ease

The fewer questions buyers have, the smoother the checkout flow.

    2. Categories Reduce Cognitive Load

Separation creates calm — essential for events with meals, lodging, or multi-day options.

    3. Time-Sensitive Tiers Create Momentum

Early Bird tiers help build energy and financial grounding early in your sales cycle.

    4. Keep Your Audience in Mind

    Conscious communities often appreciate:

    • donation tiers
    • community supporter pricing
    • pay-it-forward options
    • zero-barrier scholarship tickets

These deepen resonance and increase attendance.

    🙏 Final Thought

Every ticket is more than a purchase — it’s an opening, a doorway into presence.

When you create your ticket structure clearly and lovingly, those meant to attend your offering feel it immediately. Your event begins long before anyone arrives; it begins here, with the care you bring to each step.
